Fisc : le fournisseur d'explosifs tente de sauver 695 millions F CFA, pari perdu
On August 4, the interim relief court rejected Orica Senegal's appeals to suspend the execution of a tax assessment of 695.6 million CFA francs. Specializing in the supply of explosives and mining products, the company contested both the collection certificates issued by the tax authorities and the ATD (Notice to Third Party Holder) sent to the banks, Libération reports. The judge ruled that the guarantees presented by Orica were insufficient, thus validating the procedure initiated by the General Directorate of Taxes and Estates, the same source adds.
