Haute cour de justice : Confrontation entre l’ex-ministre Ndèye Saly Dieng, son ex-Dage et un fournisseur
Placed under judicial supervision, the former Minister of Women, Family, Gender and Child Protection, Ndèye Saly Dieng, appeared on December 3, 2025, before the investigating committee of the High Court of Justice.
According to Seneweb, she was confronted by her Chief Administrative and Equipment Officer (DAGE), Djiby Diakhaté, as well as the supplier, Oumar Ka. These individuals, called as witnesses in the proceedings, all maintained their respective statements. The discussions focused primarily on the purchase of equipment.
In this case, Ms. Dieng was charged and then placed under judicial supervision on May 19, 2025, for the alleged embezzlement of 52 million CFA francs in connection with the management of Covid-19 funds. She had deposited the sum of 57 million CFA francs to benefit from provisional release.
