According to Wal Fadjri, the investigation into the cases of the five former ministers indicted by the High Court of Justice, which opened last May, is nearing completion. They are expected to be tried in early 2026, with the investigative commission aiming to complete the investigations by next November, according to the newspaper.
Unlike other jurisdictions, High Court judges are not bound by the six-month time limit imposed on pre-trial detention for offences, which allows them to move forward with their investigations with peace of mind.
Ndèye Saly Diop : Prosecuted for embezzlement, money laundering, and fraud involving public funds amounting to 57 million CFA francs, she is placed under judicial supervision. The bulk of the investigation has been completed, but additional hearings requested by the prosecution are delaying the closure of the case.
Ismaïla Madior Fall : Former Minister of Justice, his hearing has already taken place and his case is in its final stages. He remains under house arrest with an electronic tag, as a committal warrant is not automatic in corruption cases.
Dr. Aïssatou Sophie Gladima : Also charged with embezzlement and money laundering, she was granted provisional release after accounting for a large portion of the funds involved. The investigation continues with the expected hearing of the former DAGE of the Ministry of Mines.
Moustapha Diop : his case is still ongoing, with a confrontation with other actors expected to take place soon.
Mansour Faye : The hearings on the merits began on September 8.

Pour le cas Mansour Faye on a beau etre contre le regime de Macky Sall, mais il faut reconnaitre que c de l'injustice.
Ceci etant , je salue led efforts de la justice surtout avec l'exploitation des rapports centifs

Au Sénégal les ministres ne sont pas les grands voleurs mais ce sont les DAGES, les DAF, les DG, les inspecteurs des impôts et domaines, du Trésor, du Cadastre, des Douanes.
