Licenciement au FONGIP : le verdict est tombé
L. Fall has lost his case against FONGIP. The court declared his dismissal "legitimate" for "serious misconduct." If he does not appeal, he will have to turn the page on his former employer once and for all.
But, according to Libération, which gave the information in its Thursday edition, the judge allowed L. Fall to leave with nearly 1.5 million CFA francs, representing the compensatory notice indemnity (636,336 CFA francs), the remainder of the holiday pay (425,191 CFA francs) and the damages for non-issuance of a work certificate (400,000 CFA francs) to which he is entitled.
L. Fall can earn a little more: "FONGIP will also have to issue, under daily penalty of 20,000 CFA francs, a work certificate" to his former employee, reports Libération.
The same source points out that "the court ordered the provisional execution of the decision, but only for 1,200,000 CFA francs, then dismissed L. Fall's other requests, and FONGIP's counterclaim."
