Me El Hadji Diouf : « Pape Malick Ndour peut voyager dès ... »
After hearing his client, former Youth Minister Pape Malick Ndour, before the Research Section (RS), Mr. El Hadji Diouf denounced "political harassment" and a "violation of his client's rights."
Quoted by L'AS, the lawyer stated that the coordinator of the APR leadership had "absolutely nothing to reproach himself for" and that investigators had "no tangible evidence" against him. According to Mr. Diouf, the summons was more of an attempt at humiliation than a genuine legal action.
Political context
The black robe interpreted this summons as a strategy aimed at muzzling the former ruling party's officials capable of contradicting the government. Me Diouf also pointed out the latter's incompetence in the face of major socio-economic issues, such as flooding, the high cost of living, and youth unemployment.
Legal consequences
Since no charges have been brought against him, the lawyer stated that Pape Malick Ndour is completely free to travel. "He can travel tonight," he concluded.

Que ce régime, à qui je souhaite réussite durant leur règne, sache qu’un jour ils vont passer la main à un autre régime… et que leurs dignitaires ne souhaiteraient pas être traités de la sorte à la fin de leur mandat (s) .
