Quatrième renvoi dans l’affaire opposant Omar Dramé à Marième Soda Ndiaye : La défense dénonce un "simulacre de procès"
The trial between Omar Dramé, coordinator of the Interministerial Collective of Senegalese Civil Servants, and Marième Soda Ndiaye has been postponed again, this time until April 8, 2026. This follows a request from the plaintiff's lawyer. This is the fourth postponement since the proceedings began, a development that has provoked outrage from the defendant.
According to him, all arrangements had been made with his defense team for the case to be heard at today's hearing. "It's unacceptable that the director has never appeared in court since the beginning of this case," Mr. Dramé lamented. He denounced the successive postponements which, in his view, are unnecessarily delaying the outcome of the case.
Omar Dramé also believes that the dispute that gave rise to the complaint has been "empty for a year" and calls for justice to take its course so that the case can finally be resolved.
The coordinator of the Interministerial Collective also calls on trade union organizations to mobilize in order to, he says, "put an end to this sham trial".
