Rebeuss : Abdoulaye Ndiaye, proche collaborateur de Farba Ngom, retrouve la liberté après 6 mois de détention
Abdoulaye Ndiaye, communications officer for the deputy mayor of Agnam Farba Ngom, was released this Wednesday morning after serving his six-month prison sentence at the Rebeuss House of Arrest and Correction (MAC), according to information gathered by Seneweb.
A six-month prison sentence
The APR leader was sentenced on March 5 to six months in prison and a fine of 200,000 CFA francs.
As a reminder, Abdoulaye Ndiaye was arrested on February 27 by the Special Cybersecurity Division (DSC). The grounds for his arrest were for the dissemination of false news and the making of statements deemed contrary to public morality.
A sentence fully served
After spending exactly six months behind bars, the communications officer for the mayor of Les Agnams has now completed his prison sentence. His release comes in accordance with the deadline set by the court ruling issued last March.
