SU de Guédiawaye : Garde à vue prolongée pour Bougazelli, la liste des victimes s'allonge
Former APR MP Seydina Fall, also known as "Bougazelli," has seen his case worsen with the extension of his detention. According to Seneweb sources, the real estate agent will be brought before a judge next Friday, barring any changes to the schedule.
While investigators from the Guédiawaye central police station's urban security unit, under the command of Lieutenant Sy Ba, continued their investigation, a new victim came forward to file a complaint on Wednesday. This was F. S., a widow in her forties. The complainant revealed that she had paid a total of 570,000 CFA francs to Bougazelli and his accomplice, who is currently at large. The woman stated that she never saw a room, despite the money she paid.
Furthermore, Bougazelli's accomplice has reportedly been located in eastern Senegal. A search is underway to apprehend him.
With this sixth victim, the total provisional damages are now estimated at nearly 2,000,000 CFA francs. This figure could increase further if other victims come forward.
The Bougazelli case thus reveals a well-organized alleged real estate fraud scheme that has claimed many victims, all in desperate search of housing.
