TAMBACOUNDA : Le coordonnateur de Taxawu Sénégal déféré au parquet
Offenses against an authority exercising all or part of the prerogatives of the Head of State and speeches contrary to public morals. These are the charges brought against the regional coordinator of Taxawu Senegal in Tambacounda.
Lassana Kanté was arrested on the morning of January 15 at Blaise Diagne International Airport in Diass by members of the DPAF as he was preparing to fly to Bamako to attend the funeral of a deceased relative.
This arrest follows a referral from the prosecutor at the Tambacounda High Court, Aliou Dia, stating that he was prohibited from leaving the national territory.
That is how he was transferred to the research section of the gendarmerie in Tambacounda where he has been in custody since January 18.
At the end of his legal custody period this Wednesday, the SR brought him to the prosecutor's office where he is being held in the cellar awaiting his meeting with the prosecutor.
