TGI de Thiès : Un homme interrompt une audience et traite juges et procureur de "bandits"
A most unusual scene took place in the correctional chamber of the Thiès High Court, where a hearing was abruptly interrupted by an angry individual.
During the session, the man disrupted the proceedings by violently attacking the magistrates. Beside himself with rage, he hurled insults at the judges and the prosecutor, calling them "bandits" and accusing them of having "destroyed his life."
Faced with this behavior, deemed a breach of public order and a violation of the respect due to the judicial institution, the presiding judge immediately ordered his removal from the courtroom. The individual was escorted out by law enforcement.
However, the incident did not end there. Outside, the man continued his tirade, multiplying virulent remarks and accusations against the judicial authorities, under the watchful eye of security guards.
After being expelled from the courthouse, he forced his way back in to try and re-enter the premises. He was eventually subdued by security forces and then detained in the courthouse basement.
This incident led to a temporary suspension of the hearing, highlighting the importance of respecting the judicial institution and maintaining the serenity necessary for the proper functioning of justice.
