THIÈS : 3 mois de prison avec sursis à N. Ndiaye, pour avoir acheté deux téléphones volés
Mobile phone repairman N. Ndiaye is being prosecuted for receiving stolen goods. He had bought two Samsung and Tecno phones stolen by P. Guèye, a minor, from Mr. Cissé. N. Ndiaye bought them for 15,000 CFA francs. After being located by the police, the receiver of stolen goods was arrested.
In the dock at the Thiès court, the defendant admitted the facts before stressing that he was unaware of the fraudulent origin of the phones.
Considering the facts to be established, the public prosecutor requested the application of the law. The judge found him guilty and sentenced him to three months' imprisonment, suspended.
