Trafic de drogue à Mboro : Le procureur réclame la prison ferme pour un agriculteur, un électricien et un chauffeur
Farmer S. Ndour, electrician M. Dieng and driver B. Dieng appeared before the court of flagrant offenses to answer for the facts of possession, offering or transfer of Indian hemp.
According to the indictment, they were arrested in Mboro in possession of 2.1 kilograms of cannabis, packaged in bags. The seized items included a one-kilogram bag discovered on Mr. Dieng's construction site, another one-kilogram bag found in S. Ndour's field, and a third bag located in B. Dieng's vehicle.
In court, Mr. Dieng denied the charges, maintaining that the police searched his property and found no drugs. For his part, S. Ndour acknowledged that a small bag had been found near his field, but claimed to have no idea how it got there. As for B. Dieng, he admitted that cannabis seeds had been discovered in his vehicle, stating that they were for his personal use.
Having established the facts, the public prosecutor requested two years' imprisonment for Mr. Dieng and B. Dieng, and six months for S. Ndour. The court adjourned the case for deliberation before delivering its verdict.
