Tribunal de Dakar : Abdou Nguer et son co-prévenu risquent gros, revivez les minutes du procès
SENTV columnist Abdou Nguer and his co-defendant, Pape Amadou Ndiaye Diaw, appeared before the Dakar Criminal Court this Wednesday. Abou Nguer is being prosecuted for disseminating false news, insulting the head of state, and condoning crimes or offenses, while Pape Amadou Ndiaye Diaw is being prosecuted for disseminating false news. The court decided to join the two cases, which relate to the same matter: the death of Mamadou Badio Camara, former president of the Constitutional Council. According to the indictment, a comment demanding an autopsy of the magistrate was posted on a TikTok account titled "Abdou Nguer alone," managed by Pape Amadou Ndiaye Diaw. Abou Nguer is also accused of making offensive remarks toward the authorities in several of his videos.
During the hearing, several videos were shown. Abou Nguer denied the charges against him, claiming that his comments were commentary on current events in the country. "These are comments. I am not aware of having committed all these offenses, which is why I dispute them," he said. The judge then reminded him of his comments on the Court of Auditors' report on the state's budgetary situation after the departure of President Macky Sall, citing in particular a discrepancy of 104 billion CFA francs between the official figures and those in the report. "These are facts that I found in the report. They are not my own figures," the columnist defended himself. Asked about his comments on the amnesty bill, Abdou Nguer justified his remarks: "I am commenting on current events." I said that the interpretative amnesty bill only targets the defense and security forces, while they could have shot at the bandits who attacked the Samba Diéry Diallo barracks."
Regarding Badio Camara's death, he said: "We were told of his death during a broadcast. I was surprised because the country needed him. In reality, I was arrested for a video and a comment that I did not publish. For me, only the author should be arrested." He concluded: "All the videos that the prosecutor produced are old comments. The prosecution made a compilation of videos that are a year old. I never thought that one day I would be judged for my thoughts."
His co-defendant, Pape Amadou Ndiaye Diaw, admitted the facts: "I follow Abdou Nguer's chronicles. I created a TikTok account to publish his videos, just to get views. I was the one who published the one about Badio Camara's death with a comment requesting an autopsy. I didn't think it was an offense," he admitted.
The observations of the public prosecutor
In his observations, the public prosecutor issued a harsh indictment against the defendants. "It was following the dissemination of a video published on the social network TikTok in which Abdou Nguer made remarks. That's when an investigation was opened. He admitted to being the author of the remarks and declared that he had observed a succession of deaths of several authorities. Furthermore, Pape Amadou Ndiaye Diaw, who published the video on the TikTok account 'Abdou Nguer seul', was arrested. It was after this that the investigation revealed other criminal videos. He spoke of a discrepancy concerning the Court of Auditors' report, accusing the president and his team of acting illegally. Regarding the deaths of the protesters, he declared that if it were him, they would have been massacred." There has been a dissemination of false news in the context of this case, dubiously portraying the death of these authorities, namely the former Minister of Finance, Mouhamadou Moustapha Ba, etc. Invoking the fact that the nature of his case is suspicious.
"In addition, his co-defendant made a comment saying: 'All the people are demanding an autopsy.' And it was this video that was the origin of that. As for the Court of Auditors' report, he accused the government of dishonesty. Moreover, he justifies, welcomes the fact that people called protesters were killed," explained the representative of the public prosecutor. The prosecution, considering the facts consistent, requested a sentence of 2 years, including 1 year in prison, for Abdou Nguer, accompanied by a fine of 500,000 FCFA, and 6 months in prison for Pape Amadou Ndiaye Diaw, with a fine of 100,000 FCFA.

Ce pays marche vraiment à l’envers. Si aujourd’hui beaucoup de Sénégalais en viennent à écouter Abdou Nguer, c’est bien parce que le régime actuel les a profondément déçus. Si les promesses faites avaient été tenues, Abdou Nguer ne serait même pas une voix audible.
Avec ce gouvernement, nous risquons de perdre cinq précieuses années . Il est urge de se réveiller et de réclamer des réponses et des actions concrètes.
C'est Bougane qui est responsable de ce qui lui arrive. J'espere que Bougane s'ocupe bien de sa famille et lui donne toujours son salaire. Il sera libere tot ou tard et Bougane va l'utiliser a dire des betises a SenTV.

La peine est trop légère, le parquet doit faire appel. Normalement , d’ I 2029, on ne doit plus rencontrer Abdou Nguer dans la circulation. Il ne regrette pas son attitude et ses propos. C’est un grand bandit qui va troubler l’ordre public. Il fait plus lourdement le condamner et l’envoyer à Kedougou ou Ourrosiguo en cellule disciplinaire avec travaux forcés : ramasser les cadavres de chiens, curer les caniveaux, balayer les rues, nettoyées marches, creuser des fossés septiques, dépecer des moutons. C’est un voyou
Dans les pays de droit international,aucun mort est enterré sans autopsie.
Meme s'il s'agit d'un sans abris ,a plus forte raison une autorité.
Et jusqu'à présent personne ne sait de quoi il est mort.

La cour aurait du sortir la fameuse vidéo
Abdou Nger ne devrait même pas être convoqué pour rien au monde!
Je suis heureux que mes enfants ne soient pas nés dans ce pays que je ne reconnais plus!
