Tribunal de Thiès : Alpha Condé condamné à 3 mois de prison ferme pour tentative de vol
To find a way to support himself, Alpha Condé found no better way than to force open the door of his former boss, P. Diop,'s vehicle to steal her money. The incident took place in Thiès.
Having been dismissed from his duties as a security guard at the hotel managed by Mrs. Diop, Alpha returned to the hotel at 11 p.m. to rob his former employer. To this end, he covered his face before forcing open the door of Mrs. Diop's vehicle parked in front of the hotel, hoping to find money. But he was surprised to find the woman sitting in front.
Alpha then fled before being apprehended by the neighborhood. Handed over to the police, he was placed under arrest at the Thiès MAC.
At the Thiès District Court, the defendant admitted the facts. He stated that he was unemployed and that he had tried to steal from his former boss to support himself. Considering the facts to be consistent, the prosecutor requested that the law be applied.
Alpha Condé was sentenced to three months in prison.
