Tribunal de Thiès : Elle envoie son ex-mari en prison pour coups et blessures volontaires
It's a love that turned to hate. K. Mbaye and his ex-wife, N. Sarr, settled their differences in court in Thiès. This followed a complaint filed by the woman for assault and battery resulting in a five-day work incapacity.
According to the plaintiff, K. Mbaye beat her and called her mother a prostitute. "He grabbed me, slammed me against a wall and slapped me. He was demanding our child," N. Sarr said.
K. Mbaye denied the accusations. "Everything she says is false. This is the third time she has caused me problems. I have never laid a hand on her. She attacked me and I had my hands folded," K. Mbaye denied.
However, considering the facts to be established, the public prosecutor requested a one-month prison sentence. The verdict is scheduled for December 29, 2025.
