The Dakar flagrante delicto court has acquitted the supporters of the mayor of Agnams Farba Ngom. They had been arrested last Thursday, in front of the premises of the Financial Judicial Pool for illegal assembly, among other things. They are Dahirou Diallo, Yagouba Ka, Seydou Thioye, Hamdiatou Ba and Saikou Demba Gaye. Placed in custody for various actions, they were tried this Tuesday, February 18.
In court, the defendants all contested the facts with which they were charged. They unanimously stated that they were going about their business at the time of their arrest.
The prosecutor requested the application of criminal law. The defense, provided by Maîtres Alassane Cissé and Abdou Dialy Kane, pleaded for pure and simple acquittal. For the lawyers, no act of destruction was produced in the file.
In rendering its decision, the court acquitted them all.
