According to Seneweb sources, the five suspects arrested, including the tiktoke user Imane Traoré, were placed under a detention order by the investigating judge of the second chamber, in accordance with the introductory indictment of the prosecutor Saliou Dicko, head of the Pikine-Guédiawaye prosecutor's office.

Furthermore, Imane Traoré was charged on Tuesday in connection with another legal proceeding, linked to a case of breach of trust and fraud conducted by the Special Cybersecurity Division.

After being returned to the prosecutor's office several times, the TikToker and her co-defendants will spend their first night in prison.

Summary of the facts

On Saturday, February 21, 2026, around 6 a.m., members of the Research Brigade from the Comico police station, returning from a mission in the Yves Niang district, brought five individuals to the police station for possession and trafficking of crack.

The operation followed the exploitation of intelligence indicating an active network in the area.

Three of the suspects were caught red-handed using drugs in an apartment in the housing complex: Fatimata Traoré, also known as Imane Traoré, 21, a TikToker; Djéba Sow, 22, a hairdresser; and Pape Diouf, 22, a tiak-tiak driver, all residents of the Yves Niang housing complex. Arfang Diouf, 20, unemployed, residing in Kounoune, and Ismaïla Bâ, 21, a student residing in Golf Sud, were also arrested.

All admitted to the charges against them and identified Pape Diouf as their supplier. He was arrested at the Yeumbeul station on his Liberty scooter. His cooperation with investigators led to the arrest of a fifth individual, caught red-handed delivering drugs, with two rocks of crack cocaine and six cell phones in his possession.

The search of the premises and the suspects led to the seizure of two crack rocks weighing a total of 8.6 grams, packaging material including three plastic bags and aluminum foil, as well as nine mobile phones and two scooters.

Ca sert a quoi d’envoyer tout ces jeunes gens en prison ne serait-il pas plus efficace des travaux d’intérêt général, nettoyer les rues aller travailler gratuitement dans les hôpitaux ou service public. Qui a créé les prisons? Les prisons de ce pays sont remplies et les juges pour un oui ou non te jettent en prison
