The 11th edition of the GALSEN HIP-HOP AWARDS cultural event, expanded and renamed this year GALSEN URBAN AWARDS, highlights the diversity and success of Senegalese Afro music. Several renowned singers and artists are in the running for trophies in the flagship Afro music categories.

Best AFRO Artist of the Year

The six artists nominated for the prestigious title of "Best AFRO Artist of the Year" are:

Voting officially began this Wednesday, October 15. The results of this competition, which promises to reward the best of the urban and Afro-Senegalese scene, will be revealed during the ceremony to be held on the evening of November 8, 2025.
