Décès de Abdoulaye Diallo : L'hommage de Macky Sall
Former telecommunications engineer, poet, and painter Abdoulaye Diallo died on Thursday, September 25. In a post on X, former President Macky Sall paid tribute to the "Shepherd of Ngor Island."
"The death of Abdoulaye Diallo, "the Shepherd of Ngor Island," is a great loss for Senegalese culture. I salute his memory and pay tribute to his remarkable work. To his grieving family and to the artistic community, I extend my heartfelt condolences. May his soul rest in peace," wrote the former head of state.
Abdoulaye Diallo was called to God after a long illness. The body is scheduled to be removed this Friday at 10 a.m. in Castors.
