Accusations de violences sexuelles : Concerts, festivals et pièces de Patrick Bruel annulés
A group of feminist activists demonstrated to denounce the sexual violence allegations against singer Patrick Bruel. The Théâtre Édouard VII announced that performances of the play in Paris, as well as concerts and festival appearances by the singer of "Qui a le droit," are therefore cancelled.
All performances of the play in Paris starring Patrick Bruel have been cancelled. The announcement was made by the Théâtre Édouard VII on Thursday, June 4, according to Le Figaro. In its edition that day, the website explains that feminist activists demonstrated to demand the cancellation of the plays in which the singer was scheduled to perform: "No audience for abusers."
Accused of rape and sexual assault, the 67-year-old singer and actor had his performance of the play scheduled for Wednesday canceled. The Théâtre Édouard VII also announced the cancellation of its remaining theatrical performances. His concerts and festivals, which were to take place throughout Europe, have also all been canceled.
