Brooklyn Beckham has decided to break his silence. The eldest son of David and Victoria Beckham posted a scathing message on his social media accounts, which was widely reported by the Spanish newspaper Marca. In this blunt statement, the young man claims to be speaking out "for the first time in his life" to defend himself against what he describes as years of family and media pressure.
According to Brooklyn, his silence was a deliberate choice to protect his privacy. But he maintains that his parents and those around them relentlessly fed information about him to the press. "I remained silent for years to protect my privacy, but they continued to speak for me. I finally realized I had no other option but to set the record straight," he explains.
In a particularly firm tone, the son of the former Manchester United and Real Madrid star denounces what he considers an oppressive atmosphere, referring to the constant control exerted over his personal life. He now affirms his desire to reclaim his freedom and definitively break free from this public image imposed upon him since childhood.
Even more surprisingly, Brooklyn Beckham is ruling out any prospect of reconciliation in the short term. "I'm not looking for appeasement. I don't want to reconcile with my family. I'm finally asserting myself," he says, fully embracing the break with his loved ones.
