"Bibiche" didn't fall alone. The singer was brought before the public prosecutor this Wednesday, along with Ibrahima Marico, alias "Ivra," the director of the music video that caused her legal troubles, "Foumou daal baxna."
"Bibiche" and Ivra are the subject of a complaint from the Senegalese Committee for the Defense of Moral Values for indecent assault, violation of public morals and dissemination of images contrary to public morals.
Faced with investigators, Libération reveals, the singer declared that she "would never again attempt to make a video of this nature."
In passing, the newspaper points out, she explained her delay in responding to the summons from investigators from the Special Cybersecurity Division (DSC): "I received calls from people presenting themselves as DSC agents, but I thought they were my detractors."
Heard as a witness, the father of "Bibiche" declared that he had discovered the incriminating video at the same time as the general public and promised to meet the authors of the complaint against his daughter to apologize to them.
