The Keur Massar gendarmerie company's Research Brigade has once again struck a major blow against the criminal underworld. According to exclusive information from Seneweb, the well-known influencer Pathé Ba, better known by his pseudonym Pathé Souss, has been arrested and taken into custody for inciting debauchery, particularly through the promotion of drug (kush) consumption on social media.

Aged 33 and residing in the Asecna district, Pathé Souss had built a reputation on TikTok, where he regularly posted videos that went viral.

To create a buzz and attract views, he disseminated content deemed indecent, encouraging the consumption of a hard drug called “Souss”. These posts, widely shared from his account “Pathe221Ramsess”, eventually attracted the attention of investigators from the Keur Massar BR.

During his arrest, the police asked Pathé Souss to reveal the origin of the drugs he was showing off in his videos.

He then cooperated with investigators by placing an order for 10 grams of "Souss" from an individual named Cheikh. However, at the time of delivery, the dealer, who arrived on a motorcycle, reportedly sensed an ambush and fled, his phone subsequently being switched off.

Known for being seen with several celebrities, Pathé Souss is expected to be brought before the Pikine-Guédiawaye High Court this Wednesday.
