Décès de Léopold Aba Diatta : Amadou Ba rend hommage à un homme de devoir et de conviction
It is with deep sadness that the New Responsibility movement learned of the passing of Léopold Aba Diatta, Treasury Inspector and Mayor of Diembering, a committed member of the movement. In a message of tribute, Amadou Ba, President of the New Responsibility movement, paid tribute to the memory of a "brilliant, honest, and profoundly human" man.
"He was an exemplary public servant, a man of duty, integrity and humility. Throughout his life, he served the state with rigor and his community with dedication," he said.
Léopold Aba Diatta's career, he said, exemplifies the meaning of public service and love for Senegal. His commitment to the New Responsibility movement demonstrated his faith in a united and just country. "We have lost a brother, a role model, a respected and deeply human man," added Amadou Ba, before offering his sincere condolences to the deceased's family, his loved ones, and the entire Diembering community.
The New Responsibility bows before the memory of a servant of the Republic and prays for the eternal repose of his soul.
