Buurd Tivaouane 2025 : Dakar Dem Dikk met en place des navettes spéciales
For the needs of the Buurd de Tivaouane 2025, the Dakar Dem Dikk company has decided to organize special daily “round trip” shuttles, in order to facilitate the movement of faithful pilgrims.
Departures are scheduled every day from 5:30 p.m., from both terminals "Liberté 5" and "Guédiawaye". For the return to Dakar, at the end of the ceremony, the basketball court, opposite the Great Mosque, is chosen as the starting point, in Tivaouane.
The journeys are made by air-conditioned buses, offering comfort and safety, at a cost of 6,000 FCFA round trip. The Buurd sessions, organized as a prelude to the Mawlid Al Naby, mark the beginning of the activities of the annual Gamou of Tivaouane, which they precede by about ten days.
