133 migrants irréguliers secourus au large de Dakar
The Senegalese Navy's Cayor patrol boat rescued a canoe carrying 133 irregular migrants 92 km off the coast of Dakar on Tuesday. The operation, supported by an Air Force maritime patrol aircraft, located the boat, which likely set sail from Gambia.
The majority of the migrants are believed to be foreign nationals. They were disembarked at the Admiral Faye Gassama naval base and handed over to the appropriate authorities for appropriate care.
