À la découverte de la Justice militaire : 35 auditeurs de justice en immersion à la Gendarmerie
As part of strengthening cooperation between justice stakeholders, the Military Justice Division welcomed, from October 13 to 17, 2025, thirty-five (35) justice auditors from the Judicial Training Center (CFJ) for an immersion course dedicated to the practice of military justice.
The official opening of this training session was chaired by Brigadier General Assane Béye, Commander of the Territorial Gendarmerie.
This immersion is part of a dynamic of strengthening the professional capacities of future magistrates, by allowing them to immerse themselves in the specific realities of military justice, its procedures and its guiding principles, based on rigor, discipline and respect for the law.
Throughout the week, participants participated in high-level lectures and discussions. Experienced professionals from the legal world led modules on key topics such as the trial phase in military criminal proceedings and the practice of prosecution in military justice.
The closing ceremony, held on Friday, October 17, 2025, at the amphitheater of the High Command of the National Gendarmerie, was chaired by Brigadier General Papa Diouf, Second in Command of the National Gendarmerie and Deputy Director of Military Justice.
It was marked by the official presentation of certificates of participation as well as symbolic gifts to the court auditors, as a sign of cooperation and institutional partnership.
