Affaire Ouzin Keïta : les dessous d'un réseau tentaculaire de "sextorsion"
Placed under arrest warrants for conspiracy, unnatural acts, pimping, fraud, blackmail, extortion, intentional transmission of HIV/AIDS, and drug use, the artist Ouzin Keïta and his associates spent their first night in jail. This case, which investigators from the DIC (Criminal Investigation Division) consider "far-reaching," sheds light on a criminal organization with formidable methods.
According to revelations by Libération, the investigation uncovered cross-border connections. The network relied on two massive WhatsApp groups, "Nekh Nekh" and "No Limit," each with approximately 500 members. These platforms, specializing in paid encounters and blackmail, were operated from The Gambia, where the main administrator was located. In Senegal, the investigations confirmed the existence of active cells in Dakar, Thiès, and Kaolack.
Stolen identities
To conceal their activities and cover their tracks, several suspects used false identities. Among those arrested are: D. Coly (21 years old), who called himself "Gabriel"; PS Faye (21 years old), using the name "Mamadou Faye"; and MLS Ba (24 years old), alias "Nazir," a Gambian national.
Other suspects have also been identified, including MT Diouf, PM Coumbassa, M. Gassama, and A. Diagne. Investigators also report the presence of a 14-year-old student found at the scene during the raid in Ouest-Foire, the newspaper reports.
Analysis of the seized phones revealed numerous exchanges of intimate content between members of the network and their victims. However, the most concerning aspect remains the health dimension: according to initial findings of the investigation, five of the defendants tested positive for HIV, justifying their indictment for "intentional transmission of HIV/AIDS," the same source added.
