Alimentation en eau potable de Tivaouane: Keur Salla Mbatta, dernier village à être raccordé
Keur Salla Mbatta is the last of the five new villages in Tivaouane newly integrated into the perimeter and which needed to be connected. All four were connected last year. This was done this Friday, August 29, 2025. The Minister of Hydraulics and Sanitation, Dr. Cheikh Tidiane Dièye, officially commissioned the drinking water supply network for the village of Keur Salla Mbatta.
This ceremony was held in the presence of local administrative authorities, the Director General of SONES, represented by its Secretary General, Mr. Cheikh Ndiaye, the Director General of SEN'EAU, the Director General of SVTP, and several other personalities. The work was carried out by SONES on behalf of the Ministry of Hydraulics and Sanitation in accordance with the equitable access policy. The local populations expressed their satisfaction after such a long wait.
