Arrêté par la police de Yeumbeul-Sud : Un dealer refuse de révéler l’identité de son fournisseur
As part of the fight against crime and in accordance with the security operation conducted on Tuesday, December 16, a police raid was carried out around 8:00 p.m. in the Afia 5 neighborhood of Yeumbeul-Sud, an area known for its high crime rate. During this operation, officers from the Yeumbeul-Sud police station's investigation unit, under the command of Lieutenant Sow, noticed the suspicious behavior of an individual as they approached. This individual was identified as B. Ndiaye, a trainee driver born in 1985.
When questioned and subjected to a security pat-down, the police discovered on him kush-type drugs, packaged in six single doses on thin paper, all contained in a bag, as well as the sum of 1,000 CFA francs.
Taken to the station and briefly questioned, the suspect admitted to owning the drugs. He stated that he had acquired them in Keur Massar, but did not reveal the identity of his supplier.
The public prosecutor has been informed of the facts and an investigation has been opened to determine the responsibilities and the scope of this case.
