Attaque à main armée sur l’axe Diakhaling – Dindifa : Des voyageurs dépouillés en pleine matinée
An armed robbery took place on Thursday, January 22, 2026, at around 10 a.m., on the road linking the villages of Diakhaling, in the commune of Khossanto, and Dindifa, in the commune of Sabodala.
According to several consistent accounts, a group of hooded individuals, armed with rifles, machetes, and blunt objects, erected barricades across the road. This tactic allowed the assailants to intercept vehicles and rob passengers of their cell phones, valuables, and sums of money, the total amount of which remains undetermined at this time.
The highway robbers reportedly acted methodically, communicating with each other in Fulani, Macina and Bambara, and were said to number between seven and ten.
Fortunately, there were no deaths or injuries during this attack which caused panic among users of this busy road.
After committing their crime, the bandits disappeared into thin air.
