Axe Dahra - Mbeuleukhé : Chute mortelle d’un homme de 40 ans d’un "Wopouya"
A fatal accident occurred this Sunday around 8 a.m. on the Dahra-Mbeuleukhé road, near the village of Mbadiène. A public transport vehicle known as a "Wopouya," traveling from Mbeuleukhé to the weekly market in Dahra, violently struck a speed bump. One of the passengers, Djiby Ba, who was sitting on the floorboards of the vehicle, was ejected and fell to his death on the road.
Seriously injured, he was evacuated to the Dahra health center and then referred to the Matlaboul Fawzeyni hospital in Touba where he finally succumbed to his injuries.
According to a source close to the investigation, the vehicle was traveling at high speed when it hit the speed bump.
