« Bété Bété » : le gentleman «Amadou» jugé pour coups et blessures
Following Mame Dior's arrest and prosecution for theft, a second actor from the television series Bété Bété has found himself in legal trouble. Pierre-Marie Moreira, known for his gentlemanly role in the production, appeared in court in Mbour on Thursday. He is being prosecuted for assault and battery by his partner, Rosalie Ndour, a model based in Italy.
The events date back to August 2025, during a trip to Cape Verde entirely financed by the young woman to celebrate her birthday, reports L'Observateur, which attended the hearing. What was supposed to be a romantic getaway turned into a nightmare after an argument. According to the plaintiff, the altercation escalated into a brutal attack: she claims she was savagely beaten and forced to flee the apartment, "almost naked," seeking refuge with a taxi driver.
“According to the complaint filed by the victim at the Saly Portudal urban police station, the conflict arose because the model accused her lover, who is in the process of divorcing her, of having exposed their romantic squabbles to a third party. A highly sensitive subject for someone who is trying to preserve her reputation,” specifies the daily newspaper of the Future Media Group (Gfm).
Alerted by neighbors, Cape Verdean police intervened and immediately evicted the man from the apartment. Upon returning to Senegal, the victim presented a medical certificate attesting to a 12-day period of temporary incapacity for work.
In court, Pierre-Marie Moreira categorically denied the accusations, presenting himself as the true victim and maintaining that his partner had injured herself during the altercation.
Quoted by the same source, the plaintiff's lawyer denounced the acts as "intolerable" and demanded 5 million CFA francs in damages, while the prosecutor requested the application of the law. The court set the verdict for April 16, the Gfm headline concluded.
