Bignona : Le projet d’habitat et d’élevage de Mlomp approuvé par les populations
The allocation of dozens of hectares to foreign partners by the mayor of Mlomp, in the Bignona department, for a social housing and egg-laying hen farm project, has been a success. A project that the sub-prefect of Tendouck, Papa Sandene Sène, had blocked by an order last July.
It took consultation between municipal councilors, residents, municipal partners, and the administrative authority to reach a consensus. The municipal council and the people of Mlomp now speak the same language for the implementation of this project, which will benefit the entire municipality, according to Mayor Ansoumana Diémé.
This project will contribute to the employment of young people and women, to the dynamics of the economic recovery of the locality and to the recovery of the medical technical platform of Mlomp, like the commune of Sandiara.
This project will make Mlomp an economic hub, according to the mayor who assures that measures in this direction will be taken, with the implementation of conventional agreements by the various stakeholders.
