BOA Yoff : on connaît le montant que le braqueur avait emporté
The BOA Yoff branch, located on the road to Léopold Senghor military airport, was attacked this Wednesday. Around noon, an individual wearing an oxygen mask entered the bank after throwing a tear gas grenade inside. According to Libération, which described the scene in its Thursday edition, the robber then went to the cash register and stole 13 million CFA francs.
Unfortunately for him, but fortunately for the bank, he won't be making off with the money. The thief will be caught after a chase.
The investigation, initially conducted by the Foire gendarmerie brigade, was handed over to the Colobane Research Section. Libération reports that it has revealed the robber's name is Mr. Faye, and that he belongs to an elite unit of the defense and security forces.
