Bougouda : un bar clandestin démantelé par le GARSI2, une importante quantité de boissons et de matériel saisie
A patrol operation conducted by the GARSI2 detachment, based at the outpost of the village of Gamba-Gamba, led to the dismantling of an illegal bar in the village of Bougouda, on the evening of Thursday, January 8, 2026.
The operation took place between 6:00 PM and 1:45 AM, following intelligence reports of illegal activities in the area. On site, security forces discovered a bar operating illegally, in violation of applicable regulations.
During the operation, a significant quantity of alcoholic and energy drinks, as well as sound and computer equipment, were seized. The seizure report includes several cases and cans of various brands, including Black Power, Gody's, 3X GM, Doppel, Faxe, Beaufort, Castel, and Guinness, as well as bottles of wine, rosé, and energy drinks.
GARSI2 members also seized equipment used to run the venue, consisting of three speakers, an amplifier, a microphone and a computer, confirming the organized and recurring nature of the clandestine bar's activities.
This operation is part of the security and anti-illegal activities carried out by the defense and security forces in rural areas. It aims to maintain public order, protect the population, and enforce existing regulations.
Authorities remind the public that the sale and consumption of alcoholic beverages outside of legal frameworks exposes offenders to penalties provided by law, and call on the population to cooperate with the security forces by reporting any suspicious activity.
