Taslima, a religious city located in the Bounkiling department (Sedhiou region), is actively preparing for the 80th edition of its annual Gamou under the leadership of Caliph General El Hadji Makhily Diaby Gassama. According to the spokesperson and president of the organizing committee, the anniversary of the birth of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) will be celebrated on September 4, 2025 in the religious city.
