CESSION OU OFFRE DE CHANVRE INDIEN : Piégé par la police, B. Sow condamné à 6 mois ferme
Nineteen-year-old mechanic B. Sow is being prosecuted for supplying or offering marijuana. He was arrested by police following a tip-off about drug trafficking at a garage in Thiès.
That's how the police called him to place an order for two ice cream cones. Instead of the arranged meeting, B. Sow was caught red-handed during the transaction.
In court, the defendant stated that he was a user, not a dealer. He emphasized that when the detectives placed their order, he went to buy the drugs elsewhere.
Nevertheless, the public prosecutor considered B. Sow guilty of the charges and requested eight months of imprisonment.
The judge dismissed the charges as stemming from the use of Indian hemp and sentenced B. Sow to six months in prison.
