Collision entre un Jakarta et un tricycle à Sédhiou : Un blessé grave évacué à l'hôpital régional
Traffic was temporarily disrupted on the Sédhiou/Carrefour 22 road, specifically between the village of Diende (the commune's main town) and Bloc Villages (Sédhiou department). The cause was a collision between two motorcycles.
The two men involved were a Jakarta motorcycle driver and a tricycle driver. While both drivers escaped unharmed, the Jakartaman's passenger was seriously injured and taken to the Sédhiou Regional Hospital.

It's worth remembering that this road is accident-prone due to its poor condition. Drivers zigzag to avoid the numerous potholes that dot the road. Furthermore, the road is almost completely overgrown on both sides with tall grass, obscuring any potential hazards. And finally, there's a sharp 90-degree bend that stretches for several dozen meters.
