Crise maritime au large de Dakar : Le navire « MERSIN » fait face à un incident, vaste dispositif anti-pollution déployé
Senegalese authorities were alerted during the night of November 27-28, 2025, to a major technical incident aboard the tanker "MERSIN" off the coast of Dakar. The incident, reported by the crew, was followed by water entering the engine room.
Faced with the danger, a crisis cell was immediately activated under the supervision of HASSMAR (the authority in charge of maritime security), in coordination with the Senegalese Navy, the National Maritime Affairs Agency, and the Autonomous Port of Dakar. This mobilization aims to manage the situation and prepare for any eventuality.
Thanks to the rapid intervention of the nautical resources of the Autonomous Port of Dakar – including tugboats and specialized rescue teams – the entire crew was rescued safe and sound.
No casualties have been reported. Meanwhile, the French Navy has dispatched a ship to the area to support operations and assess the situation.
Top priority: environmental risk prevention
Maritime authorities are doing everything possible to prevent an oil spill at sea. Priority actions have been launched to secure the vessel and protect the marine environment:
Study of sealing measures: Experts evaluate the technical means to seal the leaks and stabilize the ship.
Cargo transfer study: Safe fuel unloading methods are being studied to eliminate the risk at the source.
Deployment of an anti-pollution device: As a precautionary measure, an anti-pollution barrier is being installed around the "MERSIN" to contain any hydrocarbon spill in the event of a leak.
All stakeholders are fully mobilized. The absolute priority remains the protection of human lives, the safety of the vessel, and the preservation of the marine environment. Regular communication will be maintained to inform the public and the media of developments.

C'est le troisième bateau Tanker pétrolier de la flotte russe dite de l'ombre SHADOW FLEET a été touché par des drones marins pour les couler. Le Sénégal doit se préparer à une grande pollution en hydrocarbures parce que c'est pas un accident mais un fait de guerre qui peut évoluer. Vérifier en mettant le nom du Tanker sur Google.
N est il intentionnel ?
Notre Etat resiste au dikta donc tout est envisageable
Sinon de quelles etudes vs parlez?Ces risques sont normalement connus (vulnerabilite),l'equipage forme et les mesures avec (survivabilite).Tout l'equipage est sain et sauf donc,reste qu'a les appliquer.Leegui nakk si nous n'avons pas assez de batiments pr le transfert ca c autre chose.A l'equipage aussi de sauver le max de son bateau
Un autre accident de pétrolier ! Le même scénario qu'en mer Noire Le MT MERSIN, un pétrolier/chimiquier turc de classe MR2 d'un port en lourd de 50 000 tonnes, aurait été aperçu partiellement submergé au large de Dakar, au Sénégal. Selon une vidéo diffusée aujourd'hui par des sources locales, le navire semble avoir pris l'eau près de la salle des machines et a commencé à couler par l'arrière. Les données AIS indiquent qu'il avait quitté le port russe de Taman à destination de Dakar. Certains médias locaux affirment que le navire a été endommagé et a partiellement coulé à la suite d'une attaque qui aurait été menée par les services de renseignement ukrainiens. Cependant, aucune confirmation officielle n'a été émise à ce jour. La vidéo montre que le navire semble abandonné, sans membre d'équipage
