Désordre public : L’instruction "musclée" de Bamba Cissé aux gouverneurs, préfets et Fds…(Circulaire)
Mr. Bamba Cissé, the new Minister of the Interior, seems determined to wage a crusade against disorder, particularly the anarchic occupation of space. He has given instructions on this subject to the various branches of his department.
"I have noted, with regret, a proliferation of anarchic occupations of public roads and the surrounding areas of commercial premises (precarious installations, businesses of all kinds, illegal parking, etc.), in the capital and in certain urban centers. To preserve public order and strengthen road safety, bold measures must be taken and rigorously applied," he told them in a circular letter seen by Seneweb.
To the Governors and Prefects, to whom the correspondence is addressed, he asks them, in conjunction with the Local Authorities and the services concerned, to carry out an exhaustive census of the anarchic occupations observed on public roads and around places of commerce, no later than Thursday, September 25, 2025.
"You will also have to, in conjunction with the defense and security forces and the stakeholders concerned, work on regional action plans for operations to be carried out with a detailed timetable, in order to put an end to these installations and clean up the cities of our country," he told them.

Nous rêvons tous de pouvoir marcher à nouveau sur des trottoirs inoccupés par des gargotes, kiosques divers et variés, chantiers anarchiques, et j’en passe !
