Diamaguène : des chèvres étouffées destinées à la vente, un boucher arrêté
On Thursday morning, gendarmes from the search brigade arrested A. Touré, a 26-year-old butcher working at the Diamaguène Sicap Mbao fairground.
According to Libération, which relayed the information, he was transporting two goats that had died of suffocation, hidden in bags, with a view to selling their meat, which was unfit for consumption.
Spotted during a patrol, the suspect was caught unloading the bags in a suspicious manner. Touré, quoted by the newspaper, stated that he had purchased the animals for 60,000 CFA francs. He is currently in police custody.
