DRAME À POPENGUINE : Porté disparu depuis samedi, Abdoulaye Sène retrouvé mort dans les carrières de Thicky
Tragedy struck the town of Popenguine on Tuesday with the tragic death of young Abdoulaye Sène. Missing since Saturday, November 1st, he was found dead in the waters of the quarries near the village of Thicky, not far from Popenguine.
After the discovery of the body, the gendarmes from the Popenguine Brigade were alerted. They went to the scene to carry out the usual procedures.
The body was then taken to the hospital by the firefighters.
According to testimonies, this is the second similar case recorded in these quarries after last year's case in which the victim was from the village of Samkedji.
