Escroquerie à Thiès: 2 responsables de QNET dont un enseignant arrêtés par la police

On September 18, 2025, the Nguinth police station received a complaint filed by AATendeng against JPFaye for alleged fraud related to the QNET online sales network.

According to the complainant, in 2023, JP Faye offered him to join this system presented as an opportunity for regular income, which could bring in between 150,000 and 800,000 FCFA per week, on condition that he purchased a product and recruited two partners who, in turn, had to recruit other people.

Seduced by the offer, AATendeng claims to have paid a total of 437,000 FCFA to the QNET office located at Parcelles Assainies in Thiès, in order to purchase an anti-stress pendant listed at 450,000 FCFA. Having never received the product or received his money back, he decided to take the matter to court.

When questioned, JP Faye, who claimed to be a teacher, admitted to having convinced the complainant to join the QNET network. He did, however, specify that he had given the sum received to his superior, Mr. Ndiaye.

The latter, aged 35, who claimed to be a businessman and lived in Touba, was in turn arrested and questioned. He attempted to deny the accusations, stating that he limited himself to selling products offered by the QNET company online and that he did not remember having collected Mr. Tendeng's money.

A successful search

The search carried out in an apartment serving as an office for QNET, in Parcelles Assainies in Thiès, allowed investigators to seize a large batch of materials and documents, including:

a Chrysler 200C vehicle with registration number AA501 VB belonging to Mansour Ndiaye, a Dell laptop, two LG flat screen televisions, three wall fans, a QNET product order form, various products intended for recruits, catalogs, membership registers and commercial documents, a QNET training diary, 21 chairs, as well as a stamp stamped "Oscar Sénégal SARL".

The investigation is ongoing to determine the exact responsibilities of those involved and to establish whether other victims could be affected by this system, which is considered fraudulent.
