Fatick : Une importante quantité de chanvre indien saisie à Sirmang par la BRS
During the night of January 12-13, 2026, the regional narcotics brigade (BRS) of Fatick, under the OCRTIS, as part of its security missions, seized 24 kg of Indian hemp.
This operation took place in Sirmang (Foundiougne department, Fatick region) during a night patrol conducted around 3 a.m. in the Karang area. Officers discovered two suspicious packages near the town of Sirmang.
After inspection, it was found that the bales each contained 12 blocks of Indian hemp, for a total of 24 blocks with a total weight of 24 kg.
The BRS is continuing its investigations to identify and apprehend the owners of the merchandise.
