Grand-Dakar : la tension monte entre les Imams et le maire

A standoff is raging between Senegal's imams and ulemas and the Dakar city council over a plot of land located between the Edk station and the Massalikoul Djinan mosque. The clerics, who claim to own the land, are accusing Mayor Jean-Baptiste Diouf of "attempted appropriation" after the demolition of a boundary wall and the launch of construction work on the site, reports L'Observateur in its Friday edition.

For its part, the town hall, quoted by the same source, refutes any dispossession, maintaining that the space is a public road belonging to the municipality, and that it never considered building a shopping center there, but rather paving it for the general interest.

To end the dispute, the daily newspaper of the Future Media Group reports, the sub-prefecture has asked the imams to provide proof of their ownership status. Meanwhile, tensions persist, with each side sticking to its guns, warns L'Observateur.

Ce Diene la qui avait été emprisoné pour detournement des quantines de la grande mosauée de Dakar du temps de Maodo Sylla.

Dans cette affaire la, je suis sur que ce sont les imams qui sont en tort. Ils ne pourront jamais fournir le moindre papier attestant de leur qualité de propriétaire

Il faut aménager des allées piétonnes dans Dakar.
Au Canada et en Europe, il y'a même des voies pour les vélos.
Oui au projet du Maire.
Le plus important pour tous les Dakarois : à Colobanne, il faut construire un pont aérien (pour les véhicules) qui relie la Maison du Parti socialiste à l'autoroute.
