Guédiawaye : Le frère cadet de l’international sénégalais, Moussa Ndiaye, se noie à la plage
Tragedy in Guédiawaye. Alpha Ndiaye, 13 years old and newly admitted to sixth grade, lost his life on Sunday, August 17, 2025, after drowning at Hamo 6 beach, in the suburbs of Dakar.
According to initial reports, the young boy's lifeless body was recovered by emergency services before being taken to a medical facility for routine assessment. According to the IGFM website, the victim is none other than the younger brother of Senegalese international footballer Moussa Ndiaye, a defender for RSC Anderlecht. The exact circumstances of the drowning remain unclear.
However, Hamo 6 Beach, like other undeveloped seaside resorts in the suburbs, is known for its lack of safety supervision. These areas attract many young people, especially during school holidays, when the influx of bathers significantly increases the risk of accidents.
