Insolite : un voleur chute dans l'emprise du Ter
This Thursday, the Regional Express Train (TER) service was temporarily interrupted. L'Observateur, explaining the reasons for this interruption, recounts "a bizarre and dramatic incident" that occurred at the Thiaroye sports course construction site.
"During this period of Ramadan, with the place deserted, an individual set his sights on the high-perched reservoir used to supply water to the company responsible for building the sports course," the newspaper explains.
Things went wrong, he continued: "A false maneuver caused the individual to fall violently, landing in the TER (railway) area. Where he remained inert for a long time."
According to the source, the alert was triggered "around thirty minutes later by passers-by and members of the municipal team visiting the construction site on the sports course", followed by "an intervention by the gendarmerie unit responsible for monitoring the TER facilities".
Evacuated to the Pikine National Hospital, "the man is in a coma," L'Observateur reports.
