Jaxaay : Un gendarme de la Primature traque et arrête le violeur présumé de sa nièce dans une auberge
A gendarme on duty at the Prime Minister's office brought a man from his neighborhood to the Jaxaay district police station, suspecting him of having a relationship with his underage niece. The investigation revealed repeated rapes. The Rufisque prosecutor's office was notified.
It all began when PLM, a gendarme serving at the Prime Minister's office and residing in Niacourab, received the entrance exam slip for his niece Y. Diallo, 17 years old, a student in the fourth grade.
Noticing an unexplained drop in her grades, he also learned in the neighborhood that the young girl was having a romantic relationship with S. Guèye, a 39-year-old tailor living in Niacourab. Alarmed, he ordered his wife to take the girl to the Niacourab health center for a medical examination. The nurse who examined her concluded that the minor was no longer a virgin.
On Saturday, S. Guèye called Y. Diallo's daughter and invited her to meet him at a guesthouse in Jaxaay. Gendarme PLM, who was closely monitoring his niece's movements, discreetly followed her to the establishment. There, he saw her enter a room. Unable to gain entry, he decided to wait. A few minutes later, he saw his niece and the accused leave the room together. He immediately apprehended S. Guèye and took him to the Jaxaay district police station, under the command of Commissioner Cheikh Ndiaye.
The victim describes five sexual encounters
When questioned by investigators, Y. Diallo stated that she had been in a relationship with S. Guèye for several months. She indicated that she met him at his sewing workshop, where he allegedly asked her out. She claims that he regularly invited her to a house under construction near her home, where he allegedly had sexual relations with her five times, specifying that he used condoms each time and that he had deflowered her, according to Seneweb sources. Regarding their encounter that day at the hostel, she stated that he had only touched her inappropriately.
The accused denies any sexual relations
When questioned, S. Guèye admitted to having a relationship with the young woman, stating his intention to marry her. He categorically denied having had sexual relations with her. Regarding the meeting at the inn, he explained that he wanted to be out of sight to prevent their relationship from being discovered. During the confrontation, the victim maintained all of her statements.
A request was sent to the gynecologist at the Keur Massar health center to examine the victim and prepare a medical report. Prosecutor Cheikh Diakhoumpa, head of the Rufisque prosecutor's office, was informed of the facts. S. Guèye is being prosecuted for abduction of a minor, corruption of a minor, and repeated rape.
