« Je l’ai trouvé avec ma mère » : le récit choc de l’accusé
The Mbour District Court has delivered its verdict in a case involving violence and allegations of abuse against a vulnerable person. KA Sagna, a mason, was prosecuted for seriously injuring A. Sow, a 70-year-old shepherd.
The events date back to last month in Diass, reports L'Observateur, which attended the hearing. Unable to find his mother, a woman in her sixties with a mental disability, Sagna went looking for her and eventually discovered her in Sow's sheepfold. In court, the newspaper, part of the Groupe Futurs Médias, continues, the bricklayer claimed to have caught the shepherd "in the act of having sexual relations with [his] mother, who is mentally disabled." He denounced these repeated acts, accusing the septuagenarian of having "completely turned [his] mother into a sex object."
The bricklayer recounts trying to bring his mother back, but a violent altercation broke out. The shepherd allegedly pulled out a gun and fired three shots—missing him—before Sagna managed to disarm him. He then allegedly struck him violently in the face with the butt of the pistol, causing him to be off work for 10 days.
For his part, Sow firmly denies the accusations, maintaining that the woman had only come to ask for financial assistance. The shepherd claims he was attacked without valid reason and is demanding 1 million CFA francs in compensation.
The court only considered the intentional violence committed by KA Sagna, facts established by the medical certificate. Given the circumstances deemed "explosive," he was sentenced to six months' imprisonment, suspended, and ordered to pay 200,000 CFA francs in damages to the plaintiff. In his closing argument, the prosecutor issued a warning to the shepherd, urging him to show "greater responsibility and restraint," an "implication perceived by those present as a doubt about his version of events," commented L'Observateur.

Il y a des sujets moins racoleurs et plus intéressants
J'aurais agi comme Sagna car profiter de la maladie de ma mère pour assouvir ses désirs sexuels me mettrait dans tous mes États.
Si le berger semble si attaché à sa mère et si bien sûr elle est libre d'engagement, que Sagna légalise leur relation en lieu et place de ce tiraillement... La paix "charnelle" est thérapeutique. Qui sait si cela n'améliorera pas l'équilibre mental de la dame.

Les peuls commencent vraiment à amener le bordel partout. Ils volent le bétail des honnêtes gens, ils violent des femmes déficientes mentales. Ça commence à trop en faire. Mais ils sont très fragiles. Ils ne supportent pas la douleur.
